With nearly 25 years experience in the communications industry, Kelly Jacobs Speer brings high level, strategic public relations and media relations expertise to VCAT and its clients. Working as the vice president of public relations and marketing for VCAT for the past 15 years, Kelly has helped lead the charge on highly successful public relations efforts for the Barona Band of Mission Indians, Barona Resort & Casino, the Barona Creek Golf Club, the Barona Museum and a variety of charitable giving programs. Over the years, she has also been instrumental in developing public relations and public affairs campaigns for Tribes in New Mexico and Northern California. Prior to joining VCAT, Kelly spent time working at some of California's largest marketing communications agencies and was involved in award-winning campaigns for McDonalds, the San Diego Padres and Sparkletts Bottled Water Corporation. A graduate of Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts, Kelly began her career as a television and radio news anchor and reporter.
