 Marketing Specialist Fritz Opel developed his marketing expertise with some of the largest names in corporate America. With a background in marketing, advertising, public relations and strategic planning, his wide-ranging management experience includes Walt Disney, Western Airlines and Taco Bell/Pepsico. In addition, Fritz has worked for nearly 15 years in the Indian gaming industry, starting from its very inception. Since 1995, he has contributed extensive marketing and management experience to the VCAT team. He has played a key role in the economic development of numerous Native American Tribes in Washington, Oregon, New Mexico, Michigan and California, including Siletz, Lummi, Santa Ynez, Morongo, Sandia, Sycuan and Barona. For ten years he has also been a featured columnist for Indian Gaming Magazine, a national trade publication, and is a published author on Indian gaming and marketing. Fritz earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the California State University at Long Beach. |
