 Chairman The founder of VCAT, Don Speer currently serves as Chairman of the Board and as our visionary leader. Don has directed gaming management, gaming technology and casino development for decades both inside the casino and as a consultant. One of his greatest accomplishments has been leading VCAT's efforts in helping the Barona Tribe develop its small bingo hall into a multi-million-dollar diversified enterprise, the new Barona Valley Ranch Resort & Casino. He is a recognized leader and advocate in the development of Indian gaming and has received numerous awards for his efforts in the field, including the prestigious Grogan Casino Report's "Excellence in Leadership Award for Indian Gaming" for the development of the Barona Casino, which under VCAT's guidance has grown into one of California's most successful casinos. |
